After the title page of the scrapbook, I wrote a double page non-rhyming poem to our grand-nephew about our times here in MN. I printed it out on heavy vellum and attached it over the pine tree paper with tree shaped brads.
The poem starts out: What is a memory? A flash of your mind camera, a moment in time etched into your being. We hope this book will be a keepsake to help jog those memories into the present, to make you smile, or even laugh....Memories.
So we can continue adding pages, the end says: From the smallest fun to the biggest event, we hope you have had fun, have laughed, loved, and learned. That some of these times will be remembered! Please keep coming back, on the long ride to to the north. We'll keep adding pages so we'll continue making more of those Minnesota Memories. With Love, Uncle Larry & Aunt Sue
