And it should've ended there. But have you ever miscalculated your trimming? I tried to tear off layers to fix it. I didn't get far and quit immediately! My next solution was to use (4th supply) a scallop border punch. It didn't work that well. There's too much white at the bottom of the base card. But I'm done. And tired.

I'm thinking it is a delightful card! Love the soft shades for your stenciled bg; love your beautifully colored hydrangea, and I like the look of the scalloped mat layer...adds great interest!

Personally I always like the look of a border that's not all the way down to the base of the card, so I don't see too much white at all. I'm not good at asymmetry myself but I do like the look. And I love the soft stencilling to go with the hydrangea.

This is really gorgeous Jen! Your bloom is so beautifully colored and the delicate stenciling you did showcases this bloom perfectly. I guess I was so busy looking at your image and the gorgeous colors you used that I did not notice a smidge of extra white at the bottom of the card nor the 4th element. LOL. I know Sue will love this gorgeous card you made for her Jen. ~Karen.

Jen, this is gorgeous, and I really love your coloring and especially love the stenciling! It really adds a lovely touch, and I love all that you've used and how you've used it. I think the bottom is perfect and that Sue will LOVE this card! Love the really beautiful color combination too in the stenciling. I could go on, but it really is perfection! Hugs, sweet friend! xoxo
