Tracie's "Bicycle Fun" VSN challenge reminded me of a card that I wanted to make for my Gram. In May we went for a bike ride in the woods and I took this photo of one of the lady slippers that I saw. I counted seven of them during our ride. I think they're such ugly little flowers, but there's something magical about how they just grow out there in the middle of the woods. But they remind me of my Gram, because she picked one (even though you're not supposed to) for her sister when she was in the hospital dying of cancer, because they were her sister's favorite flower. So I printed out the flower and mounted it on some green striped paper (Gram's favorite color). And then I die cut the little bicycle riding by. I thought it needed a sentiment on the left side, so I stamped a cute Verve sentiment using my Precision Press, but the card shifted and the sentiment is a bit blurry. I don't think Gram will mind.

Thanks for sharing this card with its sweet story! You must be so thankful to have a grandmother who can still ride a bike! Don't worry about the shadow on the sentiment, it's hardly noticeable!
