What a fun theme for this week's Ways To Use It card! My last two camping trips have been completely bug-filled and I thought this was fitting. I also had in mind Michelle's VSN challenge to bring the Great Outdoors to my card...well sometimes the Great Outdoors comes with not so nice inhabitants!
I masked in my trees and colored them. I stamped all of my mosquitoes. I drew my ground line, sponged it and then stamped in my "dirt". I stamped my tent, cut out the opening, stamped vellum with the canvas background in gray and then colored the back of the vellum with the turquoise. I adhered it to the back of the tent with Scor-tape. Finally, I stamped my sentiment, drew in a speech bubble around it and then trimmed it out.
I loved making this...and I hope you enjoy it!
Thanks for looking!

I love your tent and I am glad they can get inside that cute tent. I love it and the color you did it. Wonderful camping/forest scene. Hope they find that spray...and soon.

Ha, I can identify with this. Great fun, Toni. I love the speech bubble, suggesting the campers inside making sure they are ready to face those mozzies.

OMG, Toni! This is spectacular! I love every little detail--especially the vellum "screen" on the tent! It does look really fun to make. We went camping just over the border of NH and Maine one year. The mosquitos were so bad we couldn't believe it. Even right in the middle of the day. I've never seen such a thing!
