This card is for my sister in craft's VSN challenge Jean says "Let's have a SCAVENGER HUNT! The items are listed in the graphic below. Challenge yourself to use AT LEAST THREE items on your card but you may certainly use more".
I have gone with;
Palm tree - they grow all threw the bush here in Queensland
Shell - I often pick shells up off the beach
Water / the sea - can't help but see the sea from a boat lol.
Clouds - on a road trip
Crab - tastes delicious.
Yellow and Orange used in the framing panel & red for the crab.
I wouldn't have been able to do sixths card in the time frame if I hadn't had the luxury of being able to think about it over night and have in my head as to how to go about it.
I did the slap and squirt frame and then turned the timer off and went and did some housework.
When I came back I knew time was going to be tight so I set all my timers at 10 minute intervals. I scraped in with 5 minutes to spare but I had to go with clouds that were bigger than I wanted as I didn't have any of the smaller ones cut for stencils so went with what I already had but apart from that i'm happy with how it turned out. I water coloured the tree crab and shell because it's much faster than colouring with copic....and that's it folks.
Thanks for looking
Cheers Marg

Hey there my sister in craft! This is marvelous. I am going to have to try slapping and squirting. I was telling someone in the threads that I can't use just plain cardstock anymore--it has to be zooshed up a little. I love this scene and you did so well on the challenge. Stellar student.
