Jean sent us off on a scavenger hunt to find at least 3 items from her VSN list and include them on our cards. I have (1) something you could find on a beach - shells
(2) something you would see from a boat - lighthouse and (3) something that is yellow, red, or orange - the sun. I also hoped this would look somewhat like a postcard. I finally found my MISTI and needed it to get a good impression on this textured WC paper. In fact I used so much ink that when I went to add the doodled border I smeared cobalt blue ink up my arm and all over the card and desk top. Let's just pretend that this 'postcard' was run over in the parking lot.

You make me laugh. It's like I am sitting there crafting away with you. So glad you found your misti. The card, by the way, is T-riffic! Great job on the challenge and it does look like a post card--didn't notice the tire tracks. Thanks so much for scavenging with me.

Wow! The watercolor wash behind your gorgeous images is perfection! Can you teach me how to do such beautiful watercolor work? :-D Thanks so much for sharing!
