A friend came over last week and I used her angel die, and she suggested I do it in several colors then inlay pieces for a mosaic look. Ha! Easier said than done.
After she left I did it, it was tedious work. So by the time I got done with it, I was tired of the whole thing! So she sat there until I read Lisa's Holiday World VSN Staycation challenge. I thought oh, well, I will make a card out of her. The background paper is some I got at HL last year on sale. It was a pad of like 6x12. Don't see that size often. I thought the words and the gold went well with her. Thanks for looking. Come play!
Thank you ContraPat!

I totally understand the challenge of using a die cut with many pieces and gluing them back down. My MIL loved when I make quilt cards with the quilt die cuts I own and cutting them 4 or 5 times and moving the pieces is really a bunch more work than it seems. Stunning job on this amazing angel. Thank you so much for creating this beautiful card for my challenge.

Your inlaid angel is beautiful! Using the gold foil on her skirt is so perfect, and I agree. . .no other color would be as rich and stunning. Also coordinates well with your background script! How fun was that to stamp with Pat!
