This is for Brenda’s VSN Challenge – Involuntary Staycation – a get well card for someone who has to take time off to recovery due to injury, surgery or illness. I picked up this stamp recently at Tuesday Morning store and have wanted to try it out. I used the original SU! watercolor pencils. They are not marked with color name. I had selected two greens that were quite different, but it’s a cool effect. I like it. The sentiment “Hope you’re feeling better soon” is heat embossed in black so it will show up better among the long flower stems. The finishing touch is glitter pen on the flowers & leaves. It was a fast one. I did stamp several images beforehand as part of the prep in order for the image to be dry before watercoloring. I’m happy with how it turned out and would like to make some more to have on hand, especially since it is easy-to-mail. TFL

Don't you love TM? They have so many great stamps and other goodies at a great price! Love the embossed sentiment over your whimsical flowers. I like the color combo and the pierced panel that frames your beautifully colored image. So glad to see you playing VSN!

I've always loved this airy freehand flower image! Your colouring looks so well with the style of it! Great colours and I really like the way you stamped the sentiment over the stems of the blooms!
