I came home from the Scrap/Stamp Expo with this new die and stamp. I had stamped and did the technique I saw demonstrated. Watercolor right on the stamp with color bursts, then spritz with water and stamp. Then I stamped the trees in versafine over the other after it was dry and heat embossed with black powder. Well, I did that, and wasn't really happy with it, so it just lay on my desk. Of course I played with the die when I came home, too. It sat on my desk.
Hmm, so for Michelle's challenge I decided to cut the image and thought it looked good with the diecut on my desk.
What do you think? Thanks for looking! Come play!

The colors are great! What a fun technique! I just saw that technique and wanted to give it a try. Mine didn't turn out very well, as a matter of fact, mine ended up in the garbage but it's a very cool technique, I just didn't do it right! I love your embossed background. So fun to have all the elements waiting for your to put them together on a card!

I think it looks wonderful! I really like the way the image nestles in with that beautiful die cut! Those are definitely some of my favourite colours and the background you created for your trees looks fabulous!
