This is for Shirley's challenge to use a baseball image and red and white. And also for Polly's "color on color" challenge. I colored this cute Bugaboo Digi with markers and colored pencils. I read the tutorial but I still don't even know what Gamsol is. It certainly was a challenge for me to shade with pencils instead of markers but I really like the results.

This is just adorable, Jen. I love, love that image and I always love houndstooth.

This is the sort of card I would have loved to be able to make for my US nephew when I played junior league - but I only had one single PB baseball themed stamp. It's just adorable. Love the glove, and the houndstooth paper.
Gamsol is a brand name for odorless (don't believe it) mineral solvent - Winsor & Newton call it Sandoror. Some people just use baby oil. It works to blend the pencil.

Fun card of the baseball kid. Makes me think of your boys!

Your little baseball player is plum tucker out as the saying goes. Hope his rest helps him to hit a home run. Your coloring is fabulous and so are the clouds. I have gamol and got it at Hobby Lobby. I think I like using baby oil better than gamsol. I keep a little container with a sponge in it with baby oil on it. That way it is handy when using the pencils. Thanks, for playing the F4A challenge today.
