For today's Ways to Use It - It's Simplicity Day and so we were to do something simple, clean or frugal.
I love to use personal photos on my cards - and I just found this lovely silhouette photo of my niece, her daughter and the American Flag on Snapfish, where she had put photos of her vacation.
My niece and her family had just spent the 4th of July week up at her in-laws beautiful summer home/cottage in Grand Lake Stream, Maine.
I loved the silhouette of Christie and Madelyn, the way the American Flag still shows it's colors in the photo - and that beautiful sunset on the lake.
So I just had to make this simply framed card using the colors of the sunset stamping the 4th of July sentiment and sent it off to Christie today.

What a great photo and special card. I'm looking forward to getting a new printer so I can print photos again myself - it's lovely to use them on cards.

This photo of Christie and Maddie is wonderful. How smart of you to make a card out of it, mf!!
