I used the Darice quilt embossing folder, took Pixie Powders and dropped pigment into the squares, then spritzed until VERY wet. Laid the white cs into the folder, put it onto paper towel, and ran it through the Big Shot. I was VERY pleased with what came out! After it dried it was pretty warped, so I rab it through the Minc to flatten it out, and put it back into the EF and ran it through the Big Shot again to properly raise the design. That worked very well. Trimmed the panel, layered it onto antique gold cs, then deep blue metallic cs, and mounted it onto antique gold base. My stamping buddy Sharon had die cut some "with sympathy" sentiments for me, and I used one here, mounted onto the antique gold and layered with the deep blue metallic. Thanks Sharon- I didn't know I was going to need the sentiment so soon! (She did those just last week!)
This card is for a dear friend whose father passed away after only 3 days in a hospice situation. While expected, it was very very fast. I'm giving this to his mother.
