Wow! I struggled with this one! First I couldn't decide what craft to use. Then I embroidered on a card and hated it. Trash. Then I crocheted a flower and leaves. Hated that. Trash. So the third time is the charm. Went with cross stitch because last month when I visited MFT I finally was able to get the cross stitich tag die. I'm not crazy about the layout of this card, but it is okay.

I think the layout is wonderful. Your polka-dotted paper is perfect to match your hard work on the stitching....wow...so well done. It will be so appreciated. sweet pattern wit the hearts on the corners....like a country home style...glad you hung in there....so worth it....TFs..:0)

I hope you don't literally mean trash, and that you'll be able to use the crochet embellishments on another card, Pat. I'm sure they were great. This is lovely - hard to know what other layout to use - tags don't lend themselves to a lot of variety. I'm sure Christi will appreciate the care and time that went into this. I think embroidery and stitching on cards always looks great.

Oh contrare my dear, this layout is fantastic! I adore the cross-stitching you did on this tag and I adore the polka dot frame that draws your eye right to this wonderful cross-stitch piece. Sometimes, our best efforts do not yield the results we want such as the embroidery and crocheting you did earlier, but this is a true winner my friend and I know Christi will love it! ~Karen.

Embroidery, crocheting AND cross stitch? You're a needle art master my friend. I find these cross stitch cards a true labor of love. You came up with a very nice design - don't sell yourself short.
