I am working with more limited supplies here at the lake, so I don't have my gel plate or Distress Oxide Inks. For today's Technique Challenge, I substituted an acrylic block and regular Distress inks. I do love the Impressionist look this has. I created a background with various Distress inks on the block, sprayed and stamped. I stamped my images afterward. This card took four attempts as I tried different approaches. I thought this greeting was perfect with my tropical retreat.

Oh my - I can never get an acrylic block background to come out looking anywhere near this good! You've created such a fabulous scene, love the curve of the water in the foreground.

So beautiful! I love the thin strip of gel plate coloring.......makes the card so interesting. Fav'd.
