For this month's Crafters of Faith, Sue was our hostess and asked us to create a card using the scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6 ~ Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight.
My card is based on my husband's emergency surgery and hospitalization a couple of weeks ago. While I sat in the triage with him, I was immediately brought back to the last time he had surgery and the dr came out of surgery, hand cupping his chin, having a hard time looking me in the eyes. I knew the news would not be good, and it wasn't. I stood firm this time remembering how my bible never left my hands and how desperately I prayed, including in the hospital chapel and how that faith pulled me through. I used it as a mantra that he would get well ~ now we're home and he's recovering and he has the best nurse by his side here at home

Kelly, your adorably sweet card is a perfect way of remember God was with you during the health scares with your husband. I'm so thankful he is home recovering with you - his BEST nurse - by his side!
