This is a sympathy card that I made for a good friend who lost her husband to liver cancer. He was an avid fisherman so I thought I would use that for my card theme.
It is also a card for my weekly DT post on the CottageCutz Blog. See this post for more photos and info.
I stamped the background mountains and water with the waterfront stamp set. Used a sunray stencil from MFT with daffodil delight ink for my sun.
The fishing boat & pole is a die from CottageCutz.

Oh, Mary, so sorry to hear about your friend's husband. Your card is perfect for your friend considering he was an avid fisherman! You used my favorite CC boat and fishing rod on the card!! Gorgeous piece of artwork, Mary!! Hugs!

Oh, sweet Mary, I too am so sorry about your friend's DH. What a beautiful and special card for her, and I know she will love it (and also cry, which is part of grieving). You are such a good friend to make this as lovely and tenderly as it is. Your friend is blessed to have you! Hugs! xoxo
