Couldn't get a card done yesterday, because I had too much cleaning up to do before we went off to watch the parade and then go to the beach. I love summer! So I've combined Cathy's sketch with Sabrina's "Whatever the Weather" challenge. I'm glad there's no tornados in the forecast for Massachusetts today
I had to flip the sketch because I chose a stamp that was too long. Actually the stamp is even longer, but I cut off the "Today" at the bottom. This is a farewell card for a coworker who is leaving the company. I thought it would be fun to combine the sunshine theme with some hand-drawn water droplets that I learned to draw in MIX223. So I've got some raindrops for the sunshine to dry up. Fun challenges!

The doodled drops look great on the DP...and would be very welcome here! Lovely stamp, and the DP picks up on it really well, adding to the sunshine feel.

Jen, this is a lovely card for a departing co-worker. The sentiment is fantastic along with the designer paper. Great combination of the two challenges.

Great job combining the WTUI and the sketch Jennifer. Love those papers. I hope you had fun at the beach. I think I have some of that blue DPS and love the way you used the sketch.

Jen, what a wonderful and happy card for someone leaving the company! It's upbeat and such a great color of DP. I love how you've used the sketch, and your droplets are fabulous! Sweet card, and I'm so glad you had a great day for the Fourth! Hugs! xoxo
