This card is for this weeks colour challenge and is a pure indulgence. I have had a lovely afternoon of playing....instead of doing all the things I said I would do. lol
It is quite a simple card. I did the wash background first then heat embossed the images onto this.
I lifted the ink off the flower heads using a #0 mop brush, water and paper towel, you have to repeat the process several times and you cant get all the colour off but you can remove enough to be able to colour without it effecting the outcome.
The yellow is in the flower heads. I added the ribbon SU Ruched Ribbon - Flirty Flamingo. I seem to have gone back to ribbon at the moment, I always feel it indicates a handmade card as most commercial cards don't have a lot of ribbon on them.
Once I had stuck all the layers together I added the Nuvo drops and that's it.
Thanks for looking
Cheers Marg

Good for you for taking time to play, Marg, there's always later for chores (IMHO) LOL! The flowers turned out so sweet, and the added dimension really draws in the eye. Super pretty card! So glad you were able to join the CC this week!

Marge, I love your funky flowers with the cool shape and colors. Super fun papers and painting too. This is a great card for the color challenge. Fun ribbon too.

GREAT color challenge entry! Love your rich turquoise color wash and those quirky white embossed blooms... Sounds interesting...on the mop thingy...not sure I understood. At first I thought you added bleach and then watercolored over bleached areas. However it was done, it's a great outcome! Love the ribbon and BIG dotted bg!
