This is for today's Inspiration Challenge where we had a visit to a fashion store called Serengeti. I found a lot of inspiration, but when I saw this tunic, the red spoke to me. I don't think I have ever done red flowers before, so it was time. I stamped using the black then heat embossed with the clear embossing powder, which has a sparkle in it. I then painted a very light colour of the scarlet red first, added a layer of Carmine Red, then added deeper layers to the flowers. Once dry I fussy cut the flowers, and die cut the panel, which I attached using foam tape. I styled the flowers before attaching with glue, added the die cut greeting, which I coloured with silver Wink of Stella. And, a few sequins finished my card today.
Thanks for having a look. aplaceforkia

A wonderful inspired design Kia! Your white cover all die cut background is perfect over the black and I love your big bright red blooms with their dotted centers!

Beautiful, Kia! I love it. I bought that top after looking at it but didn't have anything to pull the stripes off with - you did a fabulous job with it! Wow. Great card.
