I pounced a watercolor paper panel into 3 Distress Inks I had rubbed onto my craft mat and spritzed with water - first Tea Dye, then a little bit of Worn Lipstick, and then Vintage Photo. Drying between each color - until I had the look I wanted.
I die cut the wild flowers and sponged over the white ones with Vintage Photo Ink. I added black splatter with a brush full of watery black water color paint and stamped the sentiment along the bottom.
We're off to NH to one of my nieces in-laws cottage on a lake for the afternoon. Hopefully it will be cooler there than here in MA today where it is going into the 90's!

I messaged Julie......I guess it is closed. I'm such a computer dummy that I don't know how to fix it! Hope she will open it.
I love what you chose for inspiration, and your color for the bg, white and black are right on!! Favd. Have a fun time in NH.........we are staying inside with the AC on full blast!

That subtle hint of pink splashed in between your neutrals is such a nice touch on this card - rather like the ray of hope & happiness cutting through the despair.
