This card is a challenge catch up card. It is for today's Ways to Use It Challenge and this week's Color and Sketch Challenges. My DD has a birthday next week and she always wants me to make her Gemma cards. Gemma is the Pit/Lab mix that she found while hiking. Gemma decided to go home with her and after trying to find the owner, Janine decided to rescue her. In order to keep her, Janine had to sell her condo and find a place that would let her have pets. This took a couple of years and in the interim Gemma lived with my husband and I. I started planning this card last night but wanted to see what the challenge was for today. I am at my lake house and don't have my huge collection of stamps to choose from so when I saw that the Ways to Use It Challenge was to use a crown, I thought I was out of luck. But then I remember that I have had an embossed crown piece sitting on my car console for about a year. So I retrieved that and cut it out to crown our princess! I flipped the card sketch to accomodate the image orientation. I have no ink in my printer here?!? So my Queen for a Day greeting was hand printed.

You were clever to get a couple of challenges in on this, especially if you are away! That is really an accomplishment then! The crown already being there was huge! Great job cutting it out and drowning your princess ! And I agree with Sabrina, You don't need a printer when your lettering is perfect!
