I started by creating Bokeh panels - I made about 6 using different colours. I learned this technique from a Splitcoast stampers tutorial @ . It took me a few tries to get the hang of the technique. Then I die cut 'Birthday Wishes' from Sizzix, Tim Holtz thinlits - Celebrate set. My Bokeh panel is 5" X 5". I adhered it to a black card stock panel that is 5.5" X 5.5" and then attached it to my card base of the same size. I glued some sequins for sparkle using Tim Holtz Distress Collage Medium, it's awesome, the glue really does dry clear!! I had to use tweezers to dip sequins in glue, that was the trickiest part. Then I added rhinestones to sequins for extra dimension. Sequins are from Lucy's Little Things in sea spray. This card comes to life in the right light. It's for my nephew's birthday, I always struggle with masculine cards that don't fall flat, but I like the way this one turned out. TFL!
