This card represents for me the next state West. We travel through NM when we go to visit my family in Utah. I always enjoy going through New Mexico and stopping to shop for turquoise jewelry. I like Kokepeli so thought I would use this image and stamp the sun behind them because it reminds me of the NM flag. The tree rings remind me of petrified wood and although the petrified forest is in AZ I am sure there is plenty of it in NM if you know where to look. I used the Bermuda bay ink because of the connection to turquoise and I added a few turquoise chips that my husband and I found years ago and have had in a jar for all this time. We have a few large pieces in that jar as well. Don't know what we will ever do with those. There is a frame of about 1/4" width on the inside of the card from the trimmings of the front panel! I always cut my card panels 4.25 x 5.5 so that I have that option!

Kokopelli!!! I love Kokopelli! You did a marvelous job with coloring the images, using the wood circle paper, and adding the turquoise chips to the sun rays! I love this card, Pat!

What a fun mix of stamps and colors and designs. So fabulous and so reminds me of home (NM).
