SC is just south of NC and has my favorite city in the US, Charleston. I took this picture some years ago as we were staying there, and then had it enlarged and framed. It is hanging in a room downstairs. Most people ask where it is.
We have stayed there more than once, and everything inside is a treasure of antiques. The rooms have fireplaces and most have canopy beds. No one is allowed to go through the B and B unless they are staying.
The inn is walking distance to antique stores, art galleries and wonderful restaurants. Charleston is a walking city with so much to see as well as so much history. There are homes that you can go through and learn about the history of the home. If you have not been to Charleston, I would recommend this Inn.

Now that's a home I could live in! No modern glass and chrome for me.........I could have been born in the century of elegance and charm (except for the lack of air conditioning!!). this card is gorgeous depicting a place frozen in time.

I have friends who also have stayed in this Inn and had such a wonderful experience. I have had only a short trip to Charleston and it is on my list for a longer visit!

This looks like it came right out of Gone With the Wind....it's marvelous! Sounds like a lovely place to stay...I think Charleston should pay you a finders fee for all the referrals they're going to get
