I forgot that I was going to do this for Priscilla instead of the card I made yesterday. I got this cute kitty a while back and it's the first time it's seen ink. Feel better Priscilla!
I had made a few watercolored tissue samples a while back. I used one of them for the faux silk technique to make the blanket for the cat to cuddle in. Stamped the cat and watercolored him, then cut him out. Placed him on the blanket background and added some darker sharing under him to make it look like he was down in the blanket. Then I added back in some of the details (like his whiskers) that I had cut off cutting him out.

This is the cat's meow!! Love it. Excellent background. I just bought this stamp recently, too. I like how you turned the image for the cat to be coming up instead of to the side. Into my favs! I want to case this one. Beautifully colored, too. Great job! TFS

Thank you for the sweet kitty card! What an adorable expression. Great job on the silk technique blanket - luv the texture and color - makes the cute kitty face pop.
My time away from SCS was caused by hernia surgery and then 6 weeks later lower back surgery. I had 1 collapsed and 2 herniated discs at the base of my spine. Now I have 2 rods and 6 screws holding everything together. It will take about a year for it to fuse together with new bone growth.
