I had a really hard time photographing this card. My Ott-Lite died. Anyway...
Summer to me means my son and Independence Day. My son got his holidays mixed up. He was supposed to be a Halloween baby (due date Oct. 24). But he tried hard to be a 4th of July baby. He squeaked past July 5th and was born on July 6th. Yeah, you read that right. He weighed 1 lb. 4 oz. This year he turns 23 years old. Time goes by fast.
About the card, the s'mores and stars were cut out with scissors. The marshmallows were sponged with creamy caramel. A couple of the s'mores are popped up on dimensionals. I used the new SU bronze and ivory blending markers and the red and blue markers are Copics, R27 & B12.

A super cute card. I love the smores and how you personalized the card with his name on it. Happy all was well with your son, it is scary when they are born that early. I know that was a worrisome time.

Oh gee, what a fun use of that favorite stamp set The look on the bear's face always cracks me up and those S'mores make me want to start a camp fire right now!

Smores aren't an Irish thing, but they remind me of one of the icecreams we used to get on Sports Day at school when I was in primary (grade) school. That bear is always fun to see in the gallery. You mustn't have seen much of that summer, I'm sure he was in hospital for a couple of months before you got to bring him home!

Oh as a brownie, I loved s’mores! And what a great idea for your son’s 23! I am sure he will love the dessert! He must have spent most of that summer in the hospital, and now you look at a 23 year old! Happy birthday to Brian!
