Such a colorful site Stacy chose! Lovely colors & patterns there! I was inspired by THIS tote. I just love the colors & Southwest pattern.
To make my SW bg, I applied Distress oxide inks to the inside of the embossing folder (Embossing Folder Stamping) then placed my die cut piece of white card stock inside. I actually used what would normally be the back side because I wanted just the lines & not the inside of the pattern. Leaving the c/s just where it was, I added a little more ink here & there where needed. When satisfied, I went ahead & ran it thru the Big Shot to emboss it because I also wanted the texture. The big Happy was die cut then stamped & double stacked on another white piece to give it some depth. The coral pieces were leftovers that seemed to fit in.
Thanks so much for looking. Closeups & the inside are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Awesome work, Julie. Wonderful design and so much like your inspiration. It looks like quite a job to get all those colors on the folder. Very impressive!

What a marvelous outcome of using Audrie's technique, Julie! I love the beautiful colors of the embossing and the card design. Your inspiration piece shines through beautifully! Great card!
