| | This is my 2nd entry into this week's Teapot Tuesday Challenge to "Frame It." This card will be going to a friend of mine who is going through a rough time right now. I actually made this card in April shortly after my mother passed. She loved the color blue and she loved Cameo's so that is what inspired this card. I was not happy with the end result of the card at the time because I had embossed the cameo in white onto the blue locket die and it was actually a little scary looking. Then this morning, it hit me that cameo's are layered so I cut another locket die, then an oval die, and simply stamped the lady image onto the oval die. The new pieces were glued right on top of the original cameo. Thanks to the Teapot Challenge I was able to rework this card into something I am much happier with. Thanks for looking today. ~Karen. |
