There really is a banner on this...it is part of the image on the house in the middle. The stars, moon, DH and DSs aligned perfectly to let me make a card last night. I had a little rare free time, the CAS challenge was posted early (thanks!), and the image I had been wanting to color had a banner on it. I colored with copics and sharpies, resisted the temptation to add everyything along with the kitchen sink, and just rounded some corners and stuck it on white cs. The reason I added this to the CT0518, is because I did something new to me. My calendar for June has a very dark sky like this. I would never color the sky with copics that were this dark. I usually sponge distress inks. I even had to buy that really dark blue. I had finished the whole thing before I got my courage up and just made that deep blue sky. It is nice to ste p out of our comfort zone every now and then. TFL, Francie

How cool to use the image as the banners! Love that wild sky and your usual bright colors, Francie!

Francie, I saw those banners right away! Yay for the time you took for yourself! What a gorgeous scene, and I love your coloring. Sometimes when it's perfectly clear here, the skies are a deep blue, so I love this color! Beautifully done, sweet friend, and it's good for us all to get out of our comfort zones! Hugs! xoxo

Wow! Love the vibrant colors and, of course, I love the beach houses. Your sky looks fabulous in those colors. Cute way to get in those banners.

Fabulous coloring Francie - and I love that you used the darker blue for the sky - it looks fantastic and everything else pops because of the contrast! Faved.
