This is the second card I made for Cindy, this week's featured stamper. Both cards were inspired by this colorful card.
For this one, I again kept Cindy's colorful pattern and Celebrate die cut. I changed the size, added a critter and circle die and skipped a secondary sentiment.
I used the emboss resist technique to create a colorful background with Distress Oxides. I had several of these gold pierced circles left over from Christmas cards in years past.
Sponged panel in Distress Oxides and die cut my sentiment. adhered to the card front, bending the word to make a slight arc shape.
Stamped and colored in the bear holding his package. Added glitter pen on the package. Die cut. Die cut 2 blanks - for the 1, I cut off the top. This allowed me to attach to my card base evenly, accounting for the bear being partially on and partially off the circle die.
Finished off my using black Nuvo drops on his eyes, glossy accents on his nose and package.
Thanks, Cindy for the inspiration.

Debbie, this is so darling! I love this sweet little bear and your amazing coloring! And what a great layout with the emboss-resist background (something I need to try to add to my mixed-media bag, eh?) with the wonderful colors! Beautifully finished off with the rainbow "celebrate" die! I love it, sweet friend! Hugs! xoxo
