I had stamped this image in Smokey Slate the other day and I didn't quite t=know what to do with it. Today I decided to use the crayon resist technique to give him a lot of color. I water colored the background around the whale before I started coloring. Then I colored the flowers with an orange crayon, leaves with green, tail and fin with gray and the belly with white. Then I water colored the body with a very watered down pacific point. I heated my iron and Ironed the wax out onto a paper towel. Then I went back and water colored the stripes on tail, fin and belly. Added a little white gel pen for the bubbles. And then I stamped the greeting - somewhat crooked (grrr).
