When I saw that Jen's friend Betty, who is our destination for this week's Tic-Tac-Toe Teapot Tuesday challenge, likes both sewing and knitting, I was spoiled for choice which way to go. In the end I added some knitting stitches for texture but focussed on sewing. I used the right vertical column of Jacqueline's tic-tac-toe board - patterned paper (dress, background, button), die-cuts (button, paperclip, sentiment) and stitching (embossed knit stitches, sewing machine, button stitched to card.
Trimcraft Sweet Paris for background, embossed with TH folder, sanded, edges stitched and defined with green Gelato.
Kraft tag embossed with RG knit ef, trimmed down to fit card. SU spiral edge punch, folded corner and clipped it with a little die-cut paperclip from the Karen Burniston tag book pop-up set., MFT button. Dress is pieced from BG papers (Pheobe and Lily Kate, I think). I added two layers of lace along the edge of the tag, after stitching a line under the bottom of the dress form.

This is so pretty! I love the bg embossing for your dress and sewing collage. The color is lovely and the green lace so unique. As a sewer I love this so I'm sure Betty will , too.

Sabrina, what a perfect card this is for Betty! You are a master at techniques and layers and I truly delight in seeing what you make each week. The faux knitting panel is fantastic and truly highlights your wonderful paper-pieced dress here with fabulous flowers. Your sponged green background layers with layers of fine lace is gorgeous and gives this card that wonderful boutique feel - Paris Couture even! The little touches you add such as the button with thread, the spool of thread and the paperclip that turns down a paper corner are those finishing touches that make a card great that I love so very much. Betty will be thrilled with this stunning card you made for her Sabrina! ~Karen.

Sabrina, this is amazing! And Betty is going to treasure it! Wow, what wonderful details (including the sewing and knitting). All the patterns and textures are fantastic! I'm still looking at that paper clip and cannot convince myself that it is a die cut.

Another amazing masterpiece, guaranteed to touch Betty's heart. Old fashioned and modern at the same time. A die cut paper clip?? Will wonders never cease!

I am sure I have told you this before, Sabrina, but I am going to say it again. I love how much of YOU is in your cards. You can tell that you take such joy in the creating and in finding just the right details for the recipient. I am looking at the stitching and the just-right EF and the colors. . . Amazing.
