This is my first sample for CC690. Pam is our hostess and she chose cherry cobbler, crumb cake and marina mist for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is the beach. I skipped it on this card.
I need to start my Father's Day cards, and these are good colors for a masculine card. The dies I used are a new release from CottageCutz - Just For Guys. I used the Dad's Tools and the Happy Father's Day phrase dies on this card.
The background cork paper is from Recollections. I was going after a peg board look. This card emphasizes the cobbler and crumb cake colors, but to get the 3rd color in there, I used several marina mist enamel dots.
Hope you can play along with us this week. Pam has chosen some fun colors to create a card.

How very clever and so fitting for a Father's Day card, Mary! I love all the tools, and the cork background. Those Marina Mist "thumbtacks" are just perfect accents.

Mary, using the cork pegboard for Crumbcake color is genius and your card certainly fits the bill for a fantastic Fathers’s day card! Those tools are incredibly lifelike in miniature version!
