I kept the trees and the landscape orientation but used a stencil and shaving cream. I also went with a more spring like look as opposed to Janja's lovely winter scene.
The sentiment is a gift from an alphabet sister - thank you! For a finishing touch, I added pretty yellow butterflies.
I know it doesn't look like a graduation card but my DD asked for a card like this for a graduation card for a friend of hers.

pretty graduation card even if it's different than usual!! I love the shaving cream technique and it's really pretty with the stencil, your butterflies give the card a Spring look!!

Gosh Catherine, I just love the colors you chose for this wonderful card. The butterflies leave me with the feeling of "freedom" which I think most graduates can relate to. Love how you used that sparkly sentiment! ~Karen.
