Somehow a hot mess turned into a decent image. I smooshed my inks and got a background that just would not work with what I wanted it to. I finally set that idea aside and let the background talk to me and it said ocean. So I pulled out one of my mother's stamp set that I have never colored. I inked it up and was pleased to see that the sun was not blue!!! I was trying to participate in the Tuesday Morning Sketches Blank Canvas Challenge. I used the summer colors, used an embossing folder and made my sentiment dimensional by popping it up on a foam die cut. I think this just might be a card for my sister to give our stepfather on Father's Day. I am entering this card into the following challenges.

Very nicely done. Sometimes the inspiration happens when we least expect it. Glad you let the background talk to you.
