| | This week's Teapot Tuesday challenge is "Sing, sing a song." Sabrina, what a great challenge this is! I grew up in the state of Iowa that is known for its covered bridges and country roads so this card represents John Denver's Country Roads song. I had quite a time trying to figure out how to do a country roads song until I found this covered bridge stamp in my stash. I colored the image with alcohol markers, then challenged myself to use DSP. Just those 3 letters is enough to make me break out in a cold sweat of pure fear. Not sure why I struggle so much to use DSP, but it is a real challenge for me. This image kind of ends where it is not a good place to cut the image so that is why I added this die cut border with ribbon threaded through it to hide that awkward part. Thank you for looking today. ~Karen. |
