This started out as working ahead on samples - but got hijacked and made into a card to mail next time I'm near a box.
The background is three different colours of blue acrylic smooshed onto white card with babywipes. When dry, I stencilled the sun in yellow, and when it was dry, went over it again with Nuvo mousse and sprinkled some glitter over.
The bird was stamped twice on white card and coloured with Polychromos pencils. Glossy Accents on his beak. I stamped him on the base too, and then added Liquid Pearls in Chestnut for his feet. Stamped the grid stamp from Timeless Textures repeatedly to create the ground, then rubbed over it with some Craft-T rub-on in green. I used my DIY circle stencil and ColorBox Frost White to smudge in some bokeh circles in the background. Stamped the two sentiments, and then made a mess by adding spikey frames around them :-(. Added white paint around the edges, then stitched in black. Stamped a little open circle and # randomly, then added some sequins. Popped the coloured bird into the scene and called it done.

Great card - love the fun background. These birds have such big personalities. I just love them.
