This is the second card I made for this week's Sing, Sing a Song Tickle a Teapotter Challenge, which you can find HERE. While the sentiment highlights dancing in the rain, I used a Penny Black sentiment to stamp "Singing in the Rain" all across the card after stamping and masking the duck. Then I sponged in Stormy Skies for the sky, and stamped the TH sentiment. I used a Memory Box raindrops stencil and Nuvo silver glitter drops to add the rain.
I used the negative of an MFT grass die as a stencil for sponging in the grass (forest moss, peeled paint). Added some Aged Hunter embossing enamel, with Twinkling H2Os and SN clear glitter pen for the puddles. I used Polychromos pencils for colouring duck, with glossy accents on his beak and the boots. I used a stylus to dot white paint onto the umbrella, and finally edged the panel with white paint and a black Sharpie before adding it to the base.

Well it's not Gene Kelly, but your duck is fabulous and even looks like he's dancing! So adorable! I love the way you did the sentiment and put singing in the rain in the bg like a watermark.

Oh my goodness, this card is as delightful as delightful gets Sabrina. I have a big ole sloppy grin on my face right now looking at this wonderful duck singing in the rain while dancing in a mud puddle. How fun! Your backgrounds totally blow me away and this one is just exceptional my friend. How you pack so many details into one card truly is extraordinary- and fabulous! You truly rocked this challenge Sabrina! ~Karen.

Your interpretation of challenges is always something I look forward to--always so much thought goes into the design--you look for ways to express what you are thinking. I see Gene Kelly in that duck--stomping in the puddles with his umbrella--the best musical number ever!

I nearly did this song, it was one of the ones I added to my list to choose from for my card. I totally love your little dancing duck. The added rain drops and stamped sentiment really work so well in the BG.
