I forgot the stars but I can still add them.
This card is in memory of retired Captain Julia Jacobsen, US Army. She was the cousin of my son in law, Scott. She served two tours of duty in Iraq, came home, retired, was all set to begin a new job in Texas (she lived in San Diego) but went missing, along with her Wheaton terrier Boogie, last Labor Day weekend. More than a month later, her ex-husband led authorities to their shallow grave. How can one survive two tours to Iraq but die this way? 'With brave wings she flies' has been the family's motto. I can't imagine what the family is going through, with all the court dates for the ex. I wanted to do a non military card, showing who Julia was as a civilian.

Such a heartbreaking story behind this truly beautiful card. I feel sadness for her family and friends. Your Brusho splatters are just lovely behind this sweet image, and the sentiment surely is inspiring and hopeful.
