Hi, everyone! Today I would like to share a pocket card and bookmarks created for my Mother-In-Law. I started by cutting and scoring an A2 card; an A2 panel was cut from a sunflower/gingham design from the ODBD 'Follow the Son' Paper Collection; the designer paper was then cut with a curved die from the ODBD Custom Leafy Edged Borders Dies set. The edges were sponged then adhesive was used on the bottom and two sides only, leaving the curved side open. The front of the card was then decorated with the 'Be a Sunflower' set, coordinating ODBD Custom Sunflower Die, ODBD Custom Fence Die, and ODBD Custom Pierced Ovals Dies. The sunflowers were colored with markers then burnished with a sponge and ink for a deeper color. See a close up of the bookmarks HERE. I will be submitting this to the Fan Club 'Mother May I' Central Theme Challenge. Thanks so much for looking! Have a very blessed day!

This is just exceptional, Angela! I can't tell you how many times your beautiful creations have led me to the ODBD store! This sunflower image is so richly colored and that designer paper just makes me happy! The curvy edge is perfect for your wonderful bookmarks. Straight into my faves!

Angie, this is so beautiful! I love sunflowers, and I love the bookmarks that you've made to slip into the pocket! Your work is so beautiful, and I always love the finishing touches! Such a loving card for your MIL, and I'm sure she loves it! Hugs, sweet friend! xoxo
