For both of Friday's challenges:
Free 4 All - Ketchup and Mustard - use red and yellow
MIX 278 Push It - blown flowers using alcohol inks.
I practiced a bit with the alcohol inks and my Ranger Distress Marker Spritzer (black bulb that you squeeze and air puffs out) on some Yupo scraps to see how I could create petals! I did one drop and one color at a time and dried it with my heat tool before doing the next petal.
I think my flower came out looking like a pretty iris! For the stem - I just drew a line with the Lettuce alcohol ink and dried it quickly with my heat tool so it didn't get too wide.
I die cut the thank you twice to make it thicker - glued them together and layered it over the stem.
I ended up adding some iridescent sequins because I got a black spot on the white that I had to cover!
Happy Memorial Day weekend to all those in the US - and thank you to all those serving to keep us safe - or those who have served in the past!

Drying each time sounds like a good idea. I was trying Ky's suggestion of misting the paper with alcohol first, which meant everything bled all over the place as well as being spattered by the air. I see more of a tulip, but I think it's beautiful and the F4A colours worked great for it.
