This was going to be a challenge combo, but for MIX instead of making a flowers, I was going to do the sun's rays. That didn't work out. But at least I did get my red and yellow in there for Jeanne's challenge.
My friend asked me if I could make a graduation card for her niece who just graduated from Brown. Their mascot is a bear, so I went looking through my bear stamps. And I wanted one that I could somehow incorporate the school's logo. When I found this cute Sassy Cheryl Bentley Bear image, I realized I could put the logo on the balloons. As I was assembling this I realized that the symbolism of the balloons with the college logo on them lifting up the bear was pretty cool. I kind of like the nervous look on his face, too. It's scary graduating and going out into the real world. My plain alcohol ink background needed a sentiment and I looked through my graduation sentiments and couldn't find anything I liked. I thought about doing "Adventure Awaits" but then settled on "The Sky's The Limit". I hope they like it!

Wonderful sentiment for a graduate - and while the blown ink sunrays didn't quite turn out how you wanted it still made a fun, funky bit of sunshine in your sky.
