This is my 2nd sample for CC688. Stef is our hostess and she has chosen watermelon wonder, old olive and smoky slate for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is to use a die-cut.
For my card layout, I used the Jan 2018 cardmaps sketch. I somewhat modified it and left off the ribbon and bow.
I stenciled my background with a vintage quilt stencil in watermelon wonder.
My stamped watermelon wonder tulip images are from the Stampin'-Up "tranquil tulips" set. I have had this set for awhile and have been wantingto use it. I thought the colors this week were so right for the tulips.
Sentiment is from the Verve "poppy birthday" set. Finished off this card with a few metallic enamel shapes.
Hope you can play along with us this week. Stef has chosen some great colors that make a great floral card.

Mary, I love that you made two cards from the same sketch, and that they look similar but so different from each other! The stamped tulips are so pretty and lifelike, and I love the stenciled background, too!
