This is my card for CC688. Stef is our hostess and she has chosen watermelon wonder, old olive and smoky slate for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is to use a die-cut.
For my card layout, I used the Jan 2018 cardmaps sketch. I somewhat modified it and left off the ribbon and bow.
The background old olive designer paper is from the Stampin'-Up "merry little Christmas" collection. The watermelon wonder flags were cut from the Stampin'-Up "color me irresistible" collection.
My vase of flowers is the "Flowers for Mom" die from CottageCutz. It's a versatile die that can be used all year round. I turned it into a birthday bouquet.
The sentiment is from the Verve set "be blessed". Added a few metallic enamel shapes to complete the card. Hope you can play along with us this week. Stef has chosen some beautiful colors that make a great floral card.

Love that bouquet, Mary, it's so pretty against the slate circle. And evidently we were all on the same page about stripes without even talking about it ha ha!
