The dragonfly was stamped on VV CS, lightly sponged with Crumb Cake ink, & then coated with the crackle paint. When that dried, it was sponged over again with the Crumb Cake ink. It looks a bit more vintage IRL.

The crackle effect on the dragonfly looks just amazing. Lovely font for the sentiment. I thought I recognised the paper, that's one of the pads I bought two of! What a lovely soft vintage feel this has, with the lace, the paper and the crackle.

This is another gorgeous sympathy card Liz. Crackle paint? I am going to have to check this out because I love the effect it gives your dragon fly image. I really love your combination of dsp with the embossed and lightly inked cs and how you married them together with this gorgeous lace trim. This card will truly be cherished by the recipient. ~Karen.
