| | I made this card for this week's Teapot Tuesday challenge. This week's hostess, Pat (casep) chose the theme of "sending comfort" to a family that has lost a small child. This card was quite hard to do actually because my cousin has experience this kind of loss and it is near and dear to all of our hearts. I am also entering this card into last week's Alphabet challenge for the letter L. In my card, there is lime green grass sponged onto this scene. I used a flower stamp from an older SU stamp set called watercolor minis to get the "leaves" added to these trees. It is fun to do and I used 2 colors of ink. The scene was stamped and shaded, then cut out and layered with dies. I chose these colors because I was not sure if the child was a girl or a boy so the soft colors seemed appropriate. Thank you for looking today. ~Karen. |
