I'm up early today in anticipation of the arrival of dear friends from Germany whom I met 20 years ago when they were stationed here with the German Air Force! So this card needed to be fast - easy and not leave my craft room trashed as often happens when I create. I did a quick tri-toned watercolor wash then randomly splattered some of the same colors. Stamped the images and sentiment in black and embossed with clear powder. Easy-peasy summer breezy!

That smash like background is one of the most fun I think. You picked some pretty colors and love the silhouetted flowers and especially that sweet little butterfly. Great card, Linda.

Love your new avatar, Linda! And your card - the spatters in the same colours as your wash are so effective, and wildflower silhouettes are always super. Have a wonderful time with your friends.

Just beautiful - love how that background turned out. So pretty. The splatters are the perfect touch. I hear you when you say you leave your craft room trashed when you create. It always looks like a mini tornado went through my Rubber Room when I create anything. Enjoy your visit!
