Ha! Not sure what happened to my sketch today. I had this great idea when I saw it that I was going to sponge a scene of Briggs Beach. It's the beach where I spend my summers and when you look out at the water, you see this rock. Somehow in my head the rock would be good for the triangle on the sketch if I flipped it. So I tore paper and masked and sponged my whole scene and ended up with a card that I really love, but somewhere along the line I lost the sketch. So, does it count that the sketch at least inpired me? LOL!
What a beautiful card! I love the scene you've created of Briggs Beach - it really does look like the photo! So happy you linked up to Cropstop and I hope you'll join us again soon!

I think inspiration is the name of the game, when you are using creativity. Interpretation is always in the eye of the beholder, when it comes to art (IMHO).

Jen, this is gorgeous, and it does look like Briggs Beach! What an amazing scene you've created, and I want to go now...can we? I'd say it counts when you are inspired by a sketch! I love it, my friend! You are amazing! Hugs! xoxo
