Kathy's CAS challenge (CAS481) is perfect timing! My daughter has had a rough academic year. She gave herself a concussion in the first semester which kept her out of school for a week and then a very slow recovery. In the second semester, she was out a week with the flu. She is a very passionate girl over studio drawing and dramatic arts but academics are a struggle so being out so long required extra attention from teachers. I want to make sure to give them thanks for all their efforts this year.
I created my own designer paper by stamping the mini rose randomly then die cutting with the heart from the In My Heart stamp and die set by The Project Bin. The mini rose is included in a new set by the Project Bin called Hand Made. The set is mainly for stamping the back of cards but the mini rose is a sweet image that can be used creatively on the front as well!
Check out MY BLOG for more info or check out the back of the cards HERE at SCS.

How pretty, Angie! These are so sweet w/ the little rosebuds inside the hearts. It's funny..when I first saw them they reminded me of a trio of Easter Dress Thanks I made way back in Mar 2009! These are just lovely, Angie.

Angie, your created patterned paper is gorgeous! I love the mini rose on the hearts and your color choices. The cards' design is great. Sending the cards to your daughter's teachers is a wonderful gesture!
