SCSCCDT, CC687, Easel, no line coloring with copic
ItÂ’s hard to believe itÂ’s the 3rd week of May. Karen is the hostess this week and she picked some gorgeous colors.
-calypso coral
-crushed Curry
-pear pizzaz
-peekaboo peach
Dessert this week is a pocket
Well this is the first time I’ve ever done an easel card as a pocket. As you can see the thinking of you book mark will pull out of the diary pocket. The only true Stampin’ Up! color I had this time was pear pizzazz. I die cut the memory box, thinking of you in the pear pizzazz. It matched wonderfully with the old Mello Moss ink I stamped the Dawn Houser diary stamp with. The print script pocket is paper made with Kirby Teasdale studio paper pack and was cut from Cricut Cartridges Walk In My Garden at 3”, the bookmark was cut the same and I used the old SU French Script in Blush Blossom and SU crackle wheel in mellow moss for texture before gluing the words and adding a stray piece of SU ribbon in some kind of yellow color.
Ladies come join in the fun, as you can see I had limited SU colors, and limited skills but they are close enough to join in the fun. So JUMP IN! Share you creations with us.
I always tell people, If you canÂ’t find it on Split Coast it isnÂ’t available or it isnÂ’t worth having.
As always all of your comments are appreciated and make me a better crafter.
Happy Stamping,
Tonda

Tonda, this is just a stunning shabby chic easel card, lovely with all the layered elements and well done to include a pocket with the sentiment! So many pretty layers, I just love this! And your rose is so beautifully done; I know it was a labor of love and well spent, it is amazing!

Gorgeous card, Tonda! Worth all the effort--I can see all the love that went into this. Good for you for going with the no line coloring. I tried it once and didn't feel great about my results. Thanks for sharing!
